The short version. One payment buys you Peninsula on two Macs, for as long as you like, with free updates. If it isn't for you, email within 14 days and you get your money back — no reasons needed.
What you're buying
A perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use Peninsula on up to two Macs you own or control, for personal or commercial work. There is no subscription and no expiry: the version you buy keeps working, and updates are included at no extra cost.
Your licence key activates a slot per Mac. If you replace or sell a machine, use Manage Licence → Deactivate this Mac from the menu bar to free the slot before you move on.
What you may not do
- Share, resell or publish your licence key.
- Work around the licence check, or distribute a modified build that does.
Keys found published publicly may be disabled.
Refunds
Email support@getpeninsula.com within 14 days of purchase and you will be refunded in full. You do not need to explain why. Refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy, the merchant of record, and typically appear within a few business days depending on your bank.
A refunded licence key stops working.
Requirements
Peninsula needs a Mac with a notch — MacBook Pro 14"/16" (2021 or later) or MacBook Air 13"/15" (2022 or later) — running macOS 14 Sonoma or later. If you buy it and find your Mac isn't supported, that is squarely a refund case.
Updates
Peninsula updates itself using Sparkle, checking daily. Updates are signed, and the app verifies that signature before installing anything. You can turn automatic checks off in the menu bar.
Your data
Peninsula stores your notes, clipboard history and shelf files on your Mac only. See the privacy page for exactly what is stored and what is sent.
Warranty
Peninsula is provided as is. It is a small utility built with care and tested before every release, but it comes with no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, and liability is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law in your country, which take precedence over anything on this page.
